:You already ruled out the vacuum line, and if the gauge is capable of moving the needle to -14 (like when you unplug the sensor), my only guess is the sensor is sending the wrong signals to the gauge. That or there's a short in the wiring somewhere. Well, my original sensor was doing the same thing as my first post stated. So I bought a used sensor from a member on this site and he tested it on his 95TT before I bought it from him. It worked on his car so I don't think the sensor is the problem. Like you said, it could be a wiring issue but how do I troubleshoot it. BTW, thanks for creating Z32 WIKI.
